The Papua New Guinea Eco Forestry Forum Inc. is a not for profit, non government organization that has a membership of more than 20 members working to promote sustainable forest management. We promote sustainable forestry and development of new and innovative ways to utilize the economic value of forest products and services, thereby benefiting current and future generations who live and rely on the forests.
PNG EFF is seeking to recruit an Executive Director to oversee the day to day operation and management of the Forum’s functions and to provide leadership and direction. This person must be a PNG National, mature and have over 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of forestry, and/or environment and natural resources management, and have experience in working for a network organization. The person must be well vested with the current developmental trends and challenges in PNG, and must have ideas on how these could be addressed. Proposal and report writing skills are also important requirements for this position.
