Using the media

The Eco-Forestry Forum uses the media in all aspects of its work.

Press releases are regularly featured in the newspapers and on radio in PNG.

The Forum also receives good coverage on Radio Australia and on the Pacific news wires. A number of European based, and American websites use material released by the Forum.

The Eco-Forestry Forum also uses paid newspaper advertisements as part of its media campaign and utilises PNG's local and national radio network to increase awareness.

The Forum has had successful collaborations with television documentary makers and has contributed to programs aired on Australian and satellite TV networks.
